1 Depart for Europe
Board your international flight
to Munich.

2 Oberammergau
Early arrival in
Munich
where your professional bi-lingual tour guide will meet you. Transfer to our
quintessential Bavarian Hotel where we unpack our bags for the next four nights!
Enjoy your time today as you get to know enchanting
Oberammergau,
set at the foot of the Alps. This afternoon tour the Passion Play theatre and
visit the gift shop. You will also have an opportunity to visit woodcarvers.
Tonight enjoy a special Bavarian welcome dinner. Overnight
Oberammergau.

Day
3 Neuschwanstein / Garmisch
Visit Mad King Louis’ fabulous
Neuschwanstein
Castle – the Disney fairy tale castle – and Linderhof – his parent’s castle.
For those interested, tour a local distillery and brewery. Time for relaxing at
the hotel. Your first concert will be very special – perhaps performing at
Kloster Ettal – a Benedictine monastery or the pilgrimage church Wieskirche.

4 Munich
Transfer to
Munich
where your guide will familiarize you with the city. Free to explore being sure
not to miss the elegant English Gardens, Castle Nymphenburg and the amazing
Glockenspiel. Overnight

Day 5 Alps,
Innsbruck
Early breakfast and enjoy a
fantastic and breathtaking drive across the Alps to Innsbruck.
Innsbruck was a main city of the Habsburgs in the 15th
Century. Therefore, the city is decorated in baroque just like a wedding cake.
The Wiltener Basilica is one of the most beautiful examples of baroque in
Austria.
You will also see the Golden Roof – a three-story porch with a roof of the
purest gold. The Old Town is enchanting with its Imperial Palace as well.
Perform a concert in one of
Salzburg’s beautiful cathedrals
or at the Golden Roof marketplace. Return to our
Oberammergau hotel. (B, D)
Day
6 Vienna
With the Alps at our right, we
transfer to Vienna. Lunch stop along the way. Bus tour of
Vienna upon arrival where each can get their first impressions of
the City of Classical Music.
Settle into hotel for next three nights. Relax or discover the city on your own
with public transportation. You have the option of attending a classical
concert in one of the many beautiful show houses and also of going on a Danube
cruise. Dinner and overnight Vienna. (B, D)
Day
7 Vienna
Breakfast at hotel. Join your
guide to see the Schoenbrunn
Palace, former hunting
ground of the Hapsburgs, located outside of Vienna. The palace rivals France’s
Versailles palace and is furnished with many lush fixtures. Perform an
informal concert outside the Palace. This afternoon you might wish to see
the Imperial Treasury with crown jewels or the Museum of Musical Instruments.
Join the group this evening for a dinner at a Viennese heuringer - an authentic
Viennese experience with rustic fare and live music. Overnight in Vienna. (B,

8 Vienna
Breakfast at hotel. Free day
to sightsee. Perhaps you want to visit the Prater with its famous ferris
wheel. Or take a local train to Heiligenstadt to see Beethoven’s house. There
are many fine museums to explore including Hundertwasser’s Kunsthaus. Evening
arranged concert in
Vienna. Dinner on own. Overnight in
Vienna. (B)
Day 9
Melk Abbey /
Salzburg
Early
breakfast and depart for the marvelous Melk Abbey where, upon confirmation, you
will perform a mid-day concert. Enjoy the walled city of
Duernstein for lunch and exploring the fairy tale castle. Continue to Salzburg
where we will stay the next two nights. This evening enjoy the Mozart Dinner
Concert in the Stiftskeller. Musicians in period costumes will entertain us by
candlelight for an evening of memories. (B, D)
Day
10 Salzburg
Breakfast at
the hotel and then embark on the Sound of Music Tour that includes many of the
buildings used in the filming of this classic. Enjoy exploring Mozart’s
Salzburg on your own by wandering the colorful medieval cobble-stoned alleys.
Visit Mozart’s birthplace, now a museum. If it fits into the schedule, enjoy a
fascinating Marionette Opera. Perform an afternoon or evening concert.

11 Berchtesgaden
Board your luxury
air-conditioned motorcoach and enjoy the beautiful Alpine countryside as we head
to Berchtesgaden,
Germany.
Our first stop will be a tour of a salt mine. You will don white suits and shoe
covers and descend into the mine. Try out the slide and take a short boat ride
across an underground lake. Enjoy a farewell lunch in the quaint town. You may
decide to take the special bus and funicular up to the Kehlsteinhaus - Eagle’s
Nest – one of Hitler’s headquarters and now a restaurant with the most fabulous
view of the Alps. Or you may opt for a fascinating boat ride on the Koenigsee.

12 Return to the US
After
breakfast, transfer to
Munich
airport to depart for the US and arrive on the same day. (B)
