Day 1 Depart US
Main group Departs St. Louis
to Frankfurt.
Day 2 Ruedesheim
Arrive Frankfurt. Visit a
medieval monastery on the banks of the Rhine. Check into hotel with afternoon
free to explore Ruedesheim and Assmannshausen, idyllic villages located on the
Rhine River. Look just across the river at medieval castles. Overnight
Ruedesheim. (B, D)
Day 3 Cochem
After breakfast, depart for
Burg Eltz. This castle, started in the 9th Century, has always been
one of the strongholds the area and today is one of the best-preserved medieval
castles in Germany.
Continue to the enchanting town of 1,000 year old Cochem. Lunch on your own and
time to explore the quaint city centre.
Enjoy a local village wine
festival with an opportunity to sing a concert on their central open-air
stage. Return to our Rheingau hotel in the evening. (B, D)
Day 4 Cologne
Early departure for Cologne.
Upon confirmation, opportunity to sing a
noon concert in the Cologne
Cathedral (upon confirmation).
Time for sightseeing and shopping in Cologne. Return in afternoon to Rheingau
hotel. Dinner will be a winetasting and dinner at a local winery. (B, D)
Day 5 Heidelberg / Black Forest
Depart for Heidelberg.
Upon confirmation, sing a
noon concert at a Heidelberg
cathedral.
Continue to Black
Forest. Visit Kuck-Kuck Clock Museum
and an open air museum of Black Forest houses. Continue to our hotel near or in
Freiburg. (B, D)

Day 6 Freiburg
Morning walking tour of Freiburg.
Free day to explore the area on your own. This evening sing in a local
church where you will be warmly welcomed. Overnight in or near
Freiburg. (B, D)
Day 7 Zermatt
Head south through Switzerland.
Stop in the Upper Berner land at a village where we will see the art of
cheesemaking. Our final destination will be Zermatt – a quintessential “traffic
free” Alpine village. Your view of the Matterhorn – one of the most famous and
ominous peaks in
Europe – can be seen
from all corners of the town. Overnight near Zermatt. (B, D)
Day 8 Zermatt
Free day to shop the village
gift shops. Enjoy spectacular views as you travel up the mountain on lifts or
cog wheel trains. The views are astounding and the experience once in a
lifetime.
This evening perform a
concert in a local Alpine village.

Day 9 Glacier Express
Board the Glacier Express,
one of the most spectacular train rides of the world. Marvel the unspoilt
naturally beauty of a landscape rich in ancient, fragrant
mountain forests, peaceful Alpine meadows, rushing mountain streams and mountain
valleys, soaked in tradition and centuries-old culture. You will meet up with
the group in the afternoon in the town of
Chur.
Continue to Luzerne for
dinner and overnight. (B, D)
Day 10 Luzerne
Walking tour of Luzerne in
the morning. Sing a local open air concert. Afternoon free for
last minute shopping or to take a boat ride on Lake Luzerne. Special farewell
dinner. (B, D)
Day 11 Depart for US
Transfer and departure from Zurich
Airport. You will arrive home on the same day.
